What To Expect Come Surgery Day: A Checklist

If you are going to go in for a cosmetic procedure, then you are probably curious about what is going to happen when you go in to get the surgery done. This usually isn’t information that the doctors office provides unless you ask. Here is a checklist of what will happen when you enter the doctors office.

Check in
Prepped for surgery
Necessary questions are asked in order to make sure you are aware of what will happen before during and after surgery
Given a hospital gown
Staff makes sure you are comfortable before surgery
Put into the operating room. Anesthesia is used depending on surgery
Recovery room after surgery
Nurse make sure you are okay and the anesthesia is wearing off.
You are sent home depending on what procedure was done.

If you were curious about going in for a procedure you now know what to expect. Depending on the surgery some of these things listed may differ but knowing what to expect overall can make going in for surgery a more pleasant experience. It depends on how invasive the surgery is.
